Kyrchyn Jailoo — Main Ethno-Cultural Venue Kyrchyn Jailoo will host the main ethno-cultural venue of the World Nomad Games, offering a rich cultural programme showcasing national culture, traditions and customs, traditional crafts, national cuisine, and traditional sports. At the main “Kut Ordo” stage: the theatrical performance “DÜYNÖ-ÖMÜR,” the arrival of the “Unity Caravan,” republican competitions including “Shamdagaylar” — the fastest assembly and dismantling of a yurt, the “Zhashoo Zharish” relay competition, the ethnic song competition “Köчmön Kayryk,” the ethno-archaic dance competition “Biy Yrgak,” the traditional clothing competition “Sarkech,” as well as an international aitysh featuring Kyrgyz and Kazakh akyns — improvisational poets and singers. At the “Nomads’ Village,” each region will present its own ordo. The programme will include the “Köчmönдөр Daamy” national cuisine competition, the “Best Kyrgyz Yurt” competition, the “Uz-Usta” traditional crafts competitions, and theatrical presentations of traditional customs and rituals. At the “Yrys Ordo” venue, community and public association ordos will be presented. These include “Kiiz Düйнö,” showcasing 20 types of elechek traditional headdresses and the traditional art of making ala-kiyiz felt carpets; “Mekendeshter”; “Dostuk-Ordo” of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan; “Zher-Ene,” presenting the traditions of genealogy (sanjyra) and salbuuрун — the traditional art of hunting with birds of prey; and “Ala-Too Aiymdary.” At the International “Ethno-Bazaar,” visitors will enjoy a fair, street performances, master classes by artisans and chefs, and the “Shamal-Fest” festival. In the evening, manaschi — traditional performers of the epic “Manas” — will perform, while visitors will have the opportunity to observe the starry sky through telescopes. A dedicated “World Nomad Cuisine” venue will host a competition featuring chefs from five continents. For children, the “Little Nomad” ordo will offer interactive games and entertainment programmes. At the sports venue of the ethno-town, competitions and demonstrations will include ordo, a long-distance horse marathon, demonstrations of eagle hunting and traditional falconry, archery in Kyrgyz and Turkic styles, taяк тартыш (stick pulling), аркан тартыш (tug of war), sumo, strongman, arm wrestling, and other demonstration events.
